Revisiting Touring

So this is who’s gonna own next summer and fall.

Back in 2011 day, it was a great disappointment when Adele had to cancel her tour on behalf of her smash 21 record because of that thing that happened to her vocal chords. I was all set to see her in Miami – let me not keeping thinking about it.

Especially because the British sensation is hitting the road in 2016!

Indeed, Adele also will tour North America in support of her beyond-smash 25 record next year, kicking off things on July 5 in St. Paul, Minn. The closest she’ll make it to my new neck of the woods is San Jose and Oakland by the end of July/early August, and she’ll hit Miami late in October.

Happiness!

Tickets go on sale this week, on Dec. 17.

Saying Hello to My New Adele

Woke up this morning – got myself Adeles 25.

Obviously.

Hashtag connected. Hashtag sheep.

Hashtag what else was I to do.

So far so good, kids.

Update 1: It’s not gonna be N’SYNC anymore!

Adele’s 25 officially broke the long-standing record held by the boy band on Nov. 23, when it sold 2.43 million copies in just four days.

N’SYNC set a record in 2000, when their No Strings Attached album moved 2.416 records during its first week out.

Such is Adele.

Update 2: 25 was made available on Pandora on Nov. 24  so enjoy listening to that on heavy rotation in the office, workers.

Update 3: Of course, given the shattering of their record, N’SYNC had a comment or two on the juggernaut that is Adele.

And by N’SYNC I mean Lance Bass (and, OK, JC Chasez and Joey Fatone). Bass has even (jockingly) demanded a recount.

Adele’s Pulling a Taylor Swift

OMG, can you handle the anticipation right now, for Adele’s 25?

Exciting times, huh.

Well, here’s the rub: The album, which is legitimately dropping tomorrow (if you are listening to the leaks, you suck), will not be available for streaming on Spotify or Apple Music.

How very Taylor Swift of Adele, no?

I mean, this could be Red Cupgate all over again. Ah...Adele does not care about her fans.

Ah!

Hello Time

Wow!

Adele has been officially back for like, five days, and girlfriend’s already dazzling with that voice and breaking new ground and s---.

Indeed, the six-minute video for the British sensation’s first single off of her eagerly anticipated 25 album, “Hello,” is turning heads in its own right because it is the first-of-its-kind to be shot with IMAX cameras. Hot director Xavier Dolan (Mommy) directed it, and, yes, that’s Tristan Wilds (The CW’s 90210, HBO’s The Wire) co-starring in it with the singer.

Check it out:

Hey, did you hear that 25 just might be Adele’s last...age album? Ha! Had you going there for a sec, huh.

25 will be available for purchase on Nov. 20.

Adele Hellos!

Way to start the week!

Adele has begun gracing us with some much-anticipated new music.

Indeed, a snippet of a song from the British sensation’s upcoming third album, the tentatively titled 25, debuted last night, as a 29-second commercial-tease during an installment of the British version of The X Factor.

“Hello, its me,” the Grammy- and Oscar-winning singer starts before lamenting that she’s still hurting. Here...have a listen.

Intriguing stuff, huh!c

25 is supposed to come out on Nov. 20.

Update: Adele confirmed on Oct. 21 that her upcoming new album is, indeed, titled 25, but not without apologizing for the long delay. She also noted that where 21 was a break-up album, 25 will be a make-up record.

“Im making up with myself,” the singer said in a statement she posted onto her social media accounts. 25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realizing [it]. I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.

That it did: Adele’s son is 3 now.

November 25d?

And speaking of Adele....

Looks like the British sensation’s beyond-eagerly awaited new album, 25, reportedly will be out...on Nov. 20.

A new single must be imminent then.

A Late 25

Boo.

Adele reportedly won’t be releasing 25, her eagerly awaited follow-up to her hit 21 album, this year, after all.

So seems to have confirmed a financial report by XL Recording, the singer-songwriter’s label.

And they would know, right.

Darn.

25 Confirmed

This is the news we have been waiting.

Rolling in the deep for, you may even say (although I don’t quite know why I went there).

Adeles long-awaited return to the spotlight, a new record titled 25, is now confirmed.

Oh, and get this. Gf is also reportedly hitting the worldwide road in 2015, so, you know...#squeal!

Farewelling and Teasing 25

Three years ago, Adele dominated the world with her multi-Grammy-winning 21 album.

And now it looks like the British sensation wants more.

The singer, who turned 26 a couple of days ago, tweeted the following last weekend (accompanied with the adorably awkward selfie you see here), on the eve of her birthday: “Bye bye 25 ... See you again later in the year x.

Which probably means that Adele is getting good and ready to release her follow-up to 21, the presumably titled 25 (in honor of the age she was while recording), some time this summer? This fall?

Loves it.
