R2 (who is having a bit of a comeback moment, following The Intern, and especially Nightcrawler) is thisclose to joining Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones in a new action comedy titled Villa Capri.
The project will center on an ex-FBI agent (TLJ) and an attorney in a witness protection program (Freeman), who – whaddya know – have to set their differences aside in order to survive a mob hit.
Imma guess La Russo will play either a sexy and badass baddie...or the woman who comes between them in some way at some point.
