She Thought in Plastic

How very Sandra Bullock and, mostly, Jennifer Lawrence of Reese Witherspoon!

The Academy Award-winning actress is planning on to produce and star in an adaptation of Robin Gerbers Barbie and Ruth: The Story of the Worlds Most Famous Doll and the Woman Who Created Her.

Yes! A movie about the inventor of the Barbie doll.

How on trend. Inventors, especially female inventors, are all the rage in Hollywood these days.

Update: Seems like Reese Witherspoon is adaptation-happy these days.

Gf just might also star in the adaptation of Opening Belle, the Maureen Sherry novel about a mother of three striving to balance her home life with a Wall Street career on the balance (the story is set during the year before the financial meltdown of the late aughts).
