Sony reportedly is finally ready to give us more Lisbeth Salander, but in the form of a new actress – that would be the Ex Machina breakout – and not in the adaptation of The Girl Who Played with Fire but in the moviefication of the recently published The Girl in the Spider’s Web.
Neither Mara’s director, David Fincher, nor her co-star Daniel Craig is expected to be involved in the project, which Steven Knight (Locke) might write.
Which is as whack as TV’s Empire has gotten during its second season so far.
