Finally Living By Night

Ben Affleck is finally behind the camera, per his own tweet-revelation last week

The Argo helmer is, at long last, working on his long-gestating adaptation of Live By Night, the adaptation of another Dennis Lehane novel (remember, the actor popped his directorial cherry with Gone Baby Gone, which was written by Lehane).

The 2017 film coming out next fall will the story of the son (Affleck) of a Boston police captain who works his way into Beantown’s criminal underbelly som’in’ fierce in order to tear it apart from the inside out. Chris Messina is on board, as Affleck’s BFF and partner in crime.

Burnt’s Sienna Miller, Elle Fanning, and Zoë Saldana will co-star.
