Jake, Jen Are Not 2015 Oscar Nominees!

Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal were not nominated for Academy Awards this morning – so, at least when it comes to her, you could say she had her Cake (but she will not be eatin’ it, too).

Marion Cotillard (pictured here) and Bradley Cooper are going in their stead, though.

The Vie en Rose Best Actress was singled out for Two Days, One Night, while Cooper netted his third consecutive nom for American Sniper.

Meanwhile, the Gyllen-yum’s Nightcrawler failed to make the cut in the Best Picture race, but Steve Carell and Laura Dern did, for Foxcatcher and Wild, respectively.

In the Best Score category, composer Alexandre Desplat (a six-time nominee going into this morning’s nominations) pulled a double, for his work on The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Imitation Game, which, btw, is up for Best Picture, Best Director (for Morten Tyldum), Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Best Supporting Actress (Keira Knightley).

Click here for a complete list of nominations for the 2015 Academy Awards, which will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and air live from L.A. on Feb. 22.

Oh. And in case you are wondering, Transformers: Age of Extinction is the one to beat at this years Razzies.
