Gadot, the Fast & Furious 6 actress who will be Wonder Woman, was all set to play Esther in the forthcoming Ben-Hur remake starring Jack Huston – but her schedule performing in the superhero role had to go and get in the way of things. Fackin’ scheduling conflicts, y’ know. Whaddya gonna do.

Enter Boniadi.

The Iranian-British actress – whom you may know from Showtime’s Homeland and TV’s Scandal – has picked up the part of Esther, a slave woman and Ben-Hur’s love interest.
