Outta the Box and Into the True

Methinks Season 2 of True Detective is, at this point, simply going to sprung fully formed from HBO at any moment now.

’Cause all the casting-news non-news surrounding it is ridikolous.

I mean, we know Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn are on board. And that Taylor Kitsch is, too (according to Taylor Kitsch).

Elisabeth Moss was supposed to be up for a lead role as well. Ditto Keira Knightley. Word is Rachel McAdams is still very much in the mix.

So is Keilly Reilly (pictured here) now. The star of the short-lived ABC offering Black Box is reportedly being considered for a part, as are Abigail Spencer (USA Networks’ Suits) and Leven Rambin (The Hunger Games).

Finalize this s---, HBO. It’s getting boring.
