Yes...the Hiddle-hunk and the erstwhile Dr. House are going to share the (small) screen on this limited series based on the British spy-novels writer’s The Night Manager that the BBC is working on (an American network has yet to pounce on that s---).
The plot of the book-turned-TV awards bait concerns itself with a former British soldier-cum-night auditor at a luxury hotel (the man we all know and love as Loki), and the information he receives from a French-Arab woman about a dangerous black-market arms dealer (Laurie) in order to turn it over to British intelligence. Instead, he becomes part of the operation tasked with taking down the ne’er-do-well.
Sounds good to me, so welcome to the tube, Mr. Hiddleston – and welcome back, Mr. Laurie!
