All About Mommy

I have now seen the trailer for Xavier Dolan’s buzzed-about Mommy (the story of a widowed single mother played by Anne Dorval, raising her prone-to-violent-outburts charismatic son alone until she comes across hope in the form of a new neighbor), and, well...I get it now.

Mommy is some energetic stuff – and from a director who is only 25 and on his fifth film!

...and make sure you catch the Cannes Jury Prize-winning Mommy when it arrives in Canadian theaters later this week (Imma guess an American run is imminent – the powers that be will want this one racing for awards ASAP).
