Jack Reacher Will Be Back

Jack Reacher may have been a bigger hit ’round the world than at home for Tom Cruise, but that will not deter the star from revisiting his new pet character.

Indeed, the Cruiseter has begun developing a follow-up to his Christmas 2012 property.

Based on the recently published Lee Child Reacher novel, Never Go Back, the project is very much in the early stages of development. A writer or a team of writers needs to be hired.

The hope, however, is that Jack Reacher director Christopher McQuarrie will helm the sequel once he’s free from his duties on another Cruise vehicle, MI5.
