Bound for France

He’s currently doing…som’in in Thor: The Dark World (his Heimdall is supposed to see everything and, yet…the s--- keeps sneakin up on him!) and earning himself some Oscar buzz for his starring turn in the upcoming Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, but Idris Elba is already looking forward to Bastille Day.

Which will not be about, you know…Bastille Day.

But it will be set in France. (Whether they shoot the movie there, well…that’s an entirely different matter.)

Elba and a younger actor TBA will star in the movie about an American operative tasked with finding and dispensing with a young American artist living in France after the latter is connected to an attack on the Paris metro. When another attack takes place, the operative realizes that his mark is innocent and that, to boot, he may be his only link to the truth.

The plot shall thicken from there, with Elba keeping all the madness grounded with his awesomeness, of course.
