A New Sarah Connor Is A-comin’

Another day, another post about three different actresses vying for the same role – that of Sarah Connor in Terminator 5.

And the choices are: Emilia Clarke. And two newbies you may not have heard of.

I am giving Emmy nominee Clarke the edge on this one, for the project would reunite her with Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor, the helmer of several episodes of her HBO show Game of Thrones.

Plus, to me, she also looks a lot like a younger Linda Hamilton.

Also in contention are hot up-and-comer Brie Larson (who is getting raves for Short Term 12 and whom I recently saw in Don Jon) and Margot Robbie, Will Smith’s most recent partner in gossip.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back for the blockbuster, which reportedly also will feature the Kyle Reese character. Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch, and Nicholas Hoult are all said to be in the mix to be considered for that part.

And Tom Hardy has emerged as the get for John Connor.

So I guess this one will have nothing to do with Terminator Salvation, in terms of casting at the very least?
