The streamer, which delivered us a long-awaited fourth season of the beloved comedy this spring, is flirting with the idea of give us a fifth serving...some time soon.
“We are in conversations,” Brian Grazer, the show’s executive producer, said yesterday. “They are interested in doing [another season].”
Woo-wait for it-friggin’-hoo! I thought the episodes that Mitch Hurwitz & Co. brought the characters back with were pretty solid, so I wouldn’t mind it one bit if they continued their saga with a new batch before moving onto the long-gestating movie for a grand finale.
And even then, maybe the Bluths should remain exclusive to the small screen? Some folks were seeing blue, and not in the fun way, with the streamer’s season: moving things to a movie theater might make their heads explode with unmet high expectations.
