Pennsatucky Will Be Back

It’s been more than a week since the first season of Orange Is the New Black premiered on Netflix – so we can get to talking about the second season, right?

I know I can, since I watched the entire thing in like, three days....

We left off with things not looking good for imprisoned white-collar criminal Piper (Taylor Schilling): The girl was beating the s--- outta Pennsatucky, the meth-y Jesus freak played by Taryn Manning, at the end of the show’s 13th episode.

Yeah, OK...I guess things were looking worse for Pennsatucky.

Anyway, it is a good thing the show was renewed for a second outing even before the streamer shared the first season with us because it freed up the powers that be to break things down for next year and ensure that Manning would be available for more drama.

Indeed, the actress will be back, as a full-time cast member during Season 2.

So we definitely will get to see how badass Piper can be. And all the fallout from it. That season finale was much too much of a whoa moment for us not to see what happens next with all the same players in place.
