Madiba has been ailing lately, so this is especially awesome – so here’s to quite a man.
Now, what better way to salute Mandela’s history of courage, of standing up for what’s right and fair, than by getting excited about his upcoming biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, starring Idris Elba, the Golden Globe-winning star of Luther who is currently in theaters with Pacific Rim.
The film, chronicling the South African leader’s life and achievements, is set to open stateside in November, just in time for the buzz surrounding Elba’s winning performance to go into overdrive.
