Reprioritizin’

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is so It.

How It is he?

The Ittest. I think.

The child star has really grown into his looks, with talent to match, nay – to spare. He’s an artists artist who writes and directs his own stuff now. And he doesn’t come off as pretentious when he does it.

He is the anti-James Franco. In fact, he is what Franco wishes he were: a quite universally well-liked young auteur.

Which is why I am so excited about Gordon-Levitt’s feature-film directorial debut Don Jon, a modern-day take on the Don Juan story about a Jersey meathead who only cares about his bod, his pad, his ride, his family, his church, his boys, his girls, and his porn – in that order. Until he meets a girl (a rom-com-obsessed chick played by Scarlett Johansson) who makes him wanna reprioritize.

I was just gonna say a little simple something about this one and throw a pic up in here, but then I watched the trailer and heard Gordon-Levitt and Johansson’s Jersey accents, and I just knew I had to put the trailer up for your viewing and listening pleasure. ’Cause sharing is caring:

Don Jon, co-starring a buzzed-about Tony Danza as Don’s father and Julianne Moore, is set to arrive in theaters on Oct. 18.

Btw, Gordon-Levitt’s career is moving to a very good tune right now, and he soon could be shaking his thing to the tune of...Guys & Dolls?

Yes, the actor is being eyed to play one of two gamblers who make a bet about a girl. Channing Tatum would play his counterpart.
