The True Blood MVP is at the top of the list of actors in line to play Tarzan in director David Yates’ adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough’s story about that famed man of the apes.

Samuel L. Jackson is also being considered for a part in the project, that of a former mercenary with whom Tarzan is partnered to save the Congo from the diamond-hungry evildoer, but it is all talk with him, too, at this time.
Can you imagine the Swede giving us a good feral Skars-gaze in a flashback, though.
