Headed to the County

Looks like Julia Robert and Meryl Streep are going to have to make room for one more in Osage County.

Benedict Cumberbatch is thisclose to joining the Oscar winners, as well as Chris Cooper and Margo Martindale, in the adaptation of Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play August: Osage County.

Producer John Wells is set to begin directing the long-anticipated film in Oklahoma next month.

The Sherlock star would play Streep’s sensitive nephew, the son of Martindale’s character.
