Alright...it’s true: Eric Dane is leaving Seattle Grace, the place his Dr. Mark Sloan has called a home since he made one of the sexiest entrances in TV history way back when during the show’s buzzy second season.
Show creator Shonda Rhimes said that she and Dane recently talked about the move at length and that they both agreed it is “time for [Sloan’s] storyline to end.” The actor will be on hand for a few eps to give his character’s arc a proper end, but then his shift will be over.
