The Eye-opener

Anna Faris has landed the coveted job of teaching a Saddam Hussein-like dictator in an upcoming movie titled, appropriately enough, The Dictator.

As if her name alone wasn’t enough of a clue, this will be a comedy...one starring Sacha Baron Cohen.

The erstwhile Borat will tackle two roles in the project inspired by Zabibah and the King, a romance novel purportedly written by Hussein himself.

Cohen will star as the titular dictator and as the goat herder with whom he is replaced. The story sees the former looking for new meaning in a life in New York City, where he meets Faris, who will play a store owner who shows him there are plenty of possibilities out there.

Up next for the actress, though, is What’s Your Number?, opening in the fall.
