Amber Riley, a.k.a. powerhouse-voiced Mercedes on TV’s Glee, is gracing the pages of Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Issue – and she’s lookin’ all sorts of spectacular in the photos.

The magazine has the actress giving major Chaka Khan, and has even launched a Facebook campaign for the show to devote an episode to the Queen of Funk.

That’d be kinda swell, actually…I live for Mercedes solos.
