Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumnus Marc Blucas is ready for some romance, cable-style.The erstwhile Riley Finn will play the male lead and love interest of Callie Thorne in the USA Network pilot Necessary Roughness.
The show revolves around a shrink (Thorne) who becomes the therapist for a professional football team and is then, on the strength of her good work, sought after by other VIPs who all want her unique brand of tough-love therapy.
This show had me as soon as it cast Blucas, whose face I miss so on my TV.
