Living on the Edge

The multi-genre-dipping Elizabeth Banks is joining Sam Worthington on Man on a Ledge.

The movie, not to be confused with
The Ledge (starring Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam, Patrick Wilson, Terrence Howard, and Liv Tyler), will see Banks playing an NYPD crisis negotiator called in to help in a crisis concerning Worthington’s character, a suicidal cop falsely accused of a crime.

The movie is set to co-star Jamie Bell (Defiance) as the amazing Aussie’s younger brother. Bell’s character is described as being up to no good right across the street from where all the drama is going down.

Sounds intense.

Banks will next be seen in November’s
The Next Three Days opposite Russell Crowe, while Worthington will appear in winter’s The Debt with Helen Mirren.

Both are very dear to my heart, so to imagine them together on screen is making have a…moment.
