Parks and Recreation scene-stealer Aziz Ansari has been tapped to host this year’s MTV Movie Awards.So expect the show to be funny…but also kinda ’noxious.
“Aziz is the perfect host,” MTV said, “as he will bring his innovative comedy and distinctive style to the movie industry's most rebellious night on television.”
For his part, Ansari said, “I’m so happy Ronnie from Jersey Shore was unavailable and this exciting opportunity was able to come my way.”
Nominees will be announced soon. The show will air live on June 6 from California.
